Welcome to Jabberwocky!
This is a personal site of Verna, Edla and Gizmo. I'm 21 year old Finnish girl and Gizmo is my dog. My hobby is to make websites and that's the main reason for the existence of this whole site. Layout designing is my favorite part of the progress, I believe I'm quite good at it... Some may say the best... And yes, I like to underestimate my archievements.
The creature Jabberwocky comes from a poem by Lewis Carroll that was part of a childrens book of his, called "Through the Looking Glass." Although it is also said that the first appearance of Jabberwocky was a satire on Old English poetry in a learned journal. Some people think Jabberwocky is a killer rabbit, others suspect it's a dragon-like creature. I prefer the dragon-like creature. There was also a film called Jabberwocky in 1977 by Terry Gilliam, but it did not follow the plot of Carroll's poem.
